MEET YOUR COORDINATOR
Ken Kleveta
US Marine Corps
As the Local Coordinator for the Crystal Coast chapter of Irreverent Warriors, I am committed to bringing veterans together using humor and camaraderie to improve mental health and prevent veteran suicide. Through organizing events like the annual Silkies Hike, fundraisers, and local outreach efforts, I work to create spaces where veterans feel supported and connected to a community that understands their unique experiences.
My role goes beyond organizing events—it’s about connecting with the community personally. Whether it’s working with local businesses to sponsor a hike or reaching out to veterans service organizations (VSOs) to get more veterans involved, I prioritize ensuring every participant feels welcome and appreciated. Seeing how humor, camaraderie, and shared experiences can create bonds that truly help veterans feel like they belong is gratifying.
I also enjoy collaborating with other Irreverent Warriors chapters and the national team, trading ideas, and finding new ways to make each event more meaningful. This mission isn’t just a responsibility to me—it’s personal. I’m genuinely passionate about being part of a community that helps veterans feel understood and supported, and I’m always looking for ways to make a more significant impact.
