The latest data from the Department of Defense’s 2024 report on military suicides paints a disturbing picture: despite hundreds of millions of dollars in new funding aimed at reducing military suicides, active-duty suicides rose by 12%. This shocking statistic underscores a critical truth: simply throwing money at the problem isn’t enough. Transformation requires innovative, holistic approaches that address the root causes of trauma and provide veterans with sustainable healing practices. That’s where IW steps in.
